• Market reform consists of the following elements

Market ReformClaims

• Electronic trading of claims from the Marsh
  desktop to the underwriter desktop Removes the
  hardcopy claims file broker visit
• 2007 is a transition year to full eclaims trading
  of new claims
• Target is all new In Scope claims sent
  electronically for both Lloyds and IUA
  underwriters from December 1st 2007. Currently
  65pct of claims are in scope
• Infrastructure to support eclaims implemented
  live 4th Qtr 2006
• Approx 1800 claim movements sent electronically
  as at May 07
• Cultural and business issues are being addressed
  both internally and externally
• Three year business plan will deliver 70pct of
  open claims electronically
• 60pct of claims straight thru processing no
  broker involvement, allows us to focus on claims
  that matter to our clients
• Generic process flow will be implemented across
  Marsh business units
• Acord DRI message to transport document package
  to the Xchanging repository

• Electronic delivery of stage 1 and 2 submissions
  to Xchanging
• Infrastructure to support epremiums implemented
  live in 4th Qtr 2006
• As at May - 60pct of slips/transactions have
  been sent electronically from the desktop
  target is 90pct by mid year and delinked
• Reduction in errors right first time
  submissions, data/document quality
• Full audit trail we know where the premium
  package
• Electronic image of slips lodged in the
  repository and available 24/7 will benefit
  contract certainty and the provision of signed
  lines
• Drive to remove Londonisms / Lloydisms become a
  global market place
• Acord DRI and Technical account message used
  direct load as backup
