• Committee is being established to determine if
  email should be the required method of official
  communication with U employees

• Martin Berzins replacing Wayne Peay as chair of
  Cyberinfrastructure Council.
• ITC is considering posting video of meeting

• Distance Education Task Force Carol Gassert
• Creating survey for faculty departments on
  distance education activities which should be out
  in November.
• Workflow Committee Jeff West and Phil Johnson
• Deals with administrative work and is meeting
  twice a month
• Currently working on analysis of current manual
  workflow
• Would like to be involved in all campus automated
  workflow projects so solutions are interoperable
• Detailed info on what they are doing is in the
  meeting materials
• Policy Manual Redesign Phil Johnson, Paula
  Millington
• Policy and procedures manual is being revamped
• Media-on-Demand Kevin Taylor
• Use of online media is increasing dramatically
  and is replacing DVDs and Tape.
• Statistics are in meeting materials
• Funding is key factor in limiting use.

• HR Request Form Phil Johnson
• Online PAN form
• Gideon Taylor Consulting Group has been retained
  to complete the automation process
• One Card Upgrade Norm Chambers
• There wil be an upgrade of the Blackboard
  system that handles UCard transactions starting
  in December.
• CCure, Logiplex Replacement Norm Chambers
• Web based management tools for delegated
  administration and even viewing live events and
  cameras
• Vendor has been behind on implementation
  schedule, but hopefully issues have been
  resolved.
• ERICA Project Expansion John Stillman
• IRB Workflow application
• They would like to integrate other groups and
  create a single access point for initiating
  research projects and the University.
• Maximus Facilities Management Ken Nye, Perry
  Hull
• Automated maintenance management application
  being deployed gradually
