• 1Co 1123 For I received from the Lord that
  which I also delivered to you, that the Lord
  Jesus in the night in which He was betrayed took
  bread
• 1Co 1124 and when He had given thanks, He broke
  it and said, "This is My body, which is for you
  do this in remembrance of Me."
• 1Co 1125 In the same way He took the cup also
  after supper, saying, "This cup is the new
  covenant in My blood do this, as often as you
  drink it, in remembrance of Me."
• 1Co 1126 For as often as you eat this bread and
  drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death
  until He comes.
• 1Co 1127 Therefore whoever eats the bread or
  drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner,
  shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the
  Lord.
• 1Co 1128 But a man must examine himself, and in
  so doing he is to eat of the bread and drink of
  the cup.
• 1Co 1129 For he who eats and drinks, eats and
  drinks judgment to himself if he does not judge
  the body rightly.

  Between The Lords Supper The Passover.
• (Exodus 12) God Had Brought Plagues Upon Pharaoh
  Of Egypt.
• The Passover Became A Commemorative. (Exodus
  1225-27)
• In Slaying The Lamb Do Not Break A Bone (Ex
  1246). Roman Soldiers Did Not Break His Bones
  (John 1932-36 Psa 3420).
• Christ Is Our Passover. (1 Cor 57)

John 1932 So the soldiers came, and broke the
legs of the first man and of the other who was
crucified with Him John 1933 but coming to
Jesus, when they saw that He was already dead,
they did not break His legs. John 1934 But one
of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear,
and immediately blood and water came out. John
1935 And he who has seen has testified, and his
testimony is true and he knows that he is
telling the truth, so that you also may believe.
John 1936 For these things came to pass to
fulfill the Scripture, "NOT A BONE OF HIM SHALL
BE BROKEN."

• We Find Christians Observing The Lords Supper.

• On The 1st Day Of The Week (Acts 207)

It Is A Means Of Spiritual Nourishment

• (John 653-56)
• Gods Greatest Blessings To Man Are Dependent
  Upon Certain Conditions.
• We Cant Hibernate Either Physically Or
  Spiritually.
• John 653 So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly,
  I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son
  of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in
  yourselves.

Whats the purpose of the Lords Supper?

• It Is A Memorial Service (Luke 2219).
• Memorials Are Natural, Common, And Universal.
• Every Tombstone Is A Monument To Two Facts
• Somebody Lived And Was Loved
• Somebody Died And Is Remembered.
• So It Is With Christ!

It Is A Proclamation

• 1Co 1126 For as often as you eat this bread
  and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death
  until He comes.
• How Beautiful When The Congregation
• Solemnly
• Faithfully
• Discerningly
• Observes This Sacred Meal

• What Better Element To Picture His Body On The

• Note Bread Is Grain That Has Been Harvested,
  Crushed, And Baked (The Life Has Been Taken From
  It)
