Going Green
  • Energy Efficient Colours
  • Colour Solutions to Help Avert Global Warming

2
Colours for Energy Efficiency
  • Colour is one of natures amazing vibrational
energies that can be used to support energy
    efficiency.
  • Colours we wear can energise our bodies such as
red tones of underwear and clothing to stimulate
the body and actually bring up the warmth
    therefore reducing heating requirements.

3
Colours for Energy Efficiency
  • Blues can bring down the heart beat and cool off
our bodies therefore less need for
    airconditioners, etc.
  • Greens to support our nervous system and relax
the muscles of our eyes when using computers, etc.

4
Colours for Energy Efficiency
  • Darker colours absorb more heat, example roofs,
walls, windows. Lighter colours reflect light,
so therefore they dont hold the heat as much.
  • Lighter colours are preferable for soffits and
eaves to reflect more light through the windows
for added interior light. Fenceline walls in
lighter colours are also good reflectors.

5
Colours for Energy Efficiency
  • Yellow tones give you more interior light
reflection than any other colour and decreases
    the need for artificial lighting.
  • These are a few examples on how to add on the
scientific logic of colour to everyday situations
making it quicker and more effective to humanise
    the environment.

Welcome to Coloractions World of Colour Science
  • Coloraction International continues to research
for presentations at our Australia-wide workshops
    joining metaphysical and scientific colour
responses to humanise environments and personal
    wellbeing.
  • We have found letterheads, business cards,
signage, websites personal image also supports
    your personal and business life.

7
Welcome to Coloractions World of Colour Science
  • Creative science proves everybody is attracted to
or repelled by colour at a subconscious level.

Jails Main Cells
  • The main jail cell area was painted soft greens
to balance the emotions. Soft peach doors to
relax the brain and the muscles to prevent
    aggressive behaviour.

11
Jail Craft Area
  • The Wet Craft room was decorated in cool greens
to enable the inmates to focus on their projects
and reduce body temperatures. The warm timber
tones stimulate the brain to enhance their
ability to think clearly and creatively.

12
Hospitals
  • The hospital exterior front entry was painted
aqua to clearly display the entrance and to also
reduce stress in finding the emergency entrance.

13
Hospital Admittance Area
  • The warm tones add comfort and support which
balances with the aquas to relax the nervous
system. Aquas help calm the emotions to assist
staff with patients family in distress.

14
House Exteriors
  • Before After
  • By painting out the dark brick in classic
sandstone colours, it not only appeared to widen
the property, it also lifted its value and added
extra energy efficiency by preventing heat
    absorption.

15
Commercial Building Exterior
  • Before After
  • As this Ryde office block complex had lost its
appeal we were asked to repaint the exterior to
give it more skyline prominence. It is now more
    visually appealing therefore lifting the
    occupancy rate.

16
Harbourside Company Boardroom
  • Before After
  • Painting the walls a soft blue flowed into
exterior view of sea and sky therefore visually
doubling the size of the room. The soft blue
also assists in relaxing the nervous system and
the abstract night sky painting added an
inspirational background to energise and support
    during long mentally-taxing meetings.

17
Government Company Foyer
  • Before After
  • Reception areas are vital for a first
impression. We designed the space to be more
    inviting, colourful and inspirational. The
colours were used to represent our tourist
industry. The yellow are warming and
stimulating, the reds are inviting and exciting
and the blues balance by adding a touch of calm
    and serenity.

18
Book Publishing Foyer
  • We designed these particular colours to
represent what this company stands for. Orange
for communication and deep blues for executive
    integrity.

19
Sydney Jetcats
  • We used blues and reds to bring new life to the
interior of the Sydney Jetcat. The colours were
chosen to harmonise with the sea and bring
relaxation to the passengers. Certain greens
should never be used for seagoing vessels as it
has proved to bring about feelings of seasickness.

20
Bathroom Interior
  • As the client felt this bathroom was too cold
and dull, we were asked to refurbish with
skylights and changing all colours to soft warms
and textures to raise the body temperature and
    add more light.

21
Colours for the Physically Impaired
  • This whole property was designed around a
quadriplegic blind boy. By using colour and
texture he could differentiate between the
cupboards and navigate his way in the kitchen.
Colours in his playroom were designed to heighten
his visual sensitivity and add excitement and
    stimulation to his playtime.
