  • In 2001, Honourable Ron Irwin, Canadian Consul
    General in Boston, proposed an economic and
    cultural promotion project for 2004
  • Work began on staging Nunavut Collection from
    Prince of Wales Museum in Yellowknife at Peabody
    Essex Museum
  • This would be the first exhibition of the
    collection outside Canada
