"I learned a lot of new things even though I knew
a little about some subjects coming in. The
professionals went out of their way to help me
with an outside research project I'm involved
in. That made a big difference, I could tell
they actually cared about my future in science."
16
I am now officially a Restoration and
Conservation Ecology major at Utah State
University, College of Natural Resources,
Department of Forestry, Range, and Wildlife
Sciences - Helena T. Camp of 2000
17
They showed us how the impact of one animal can
determinethe future of another. This was eye
opening. Even when you understand how everything
is connected it is eye opening to physically
illustrate it! That was a good starting point.
Learning that everyone depends on everyone.
18
This camp was "gnarly" all around. I would love
to come back next year. Thanks to everyone who
worked so hard to put this on. I felt as if I
learned something. Everything that was planned
was very interesting and fun. This camp was good
because we learned by hands on activities.
19
I didnt know quite what to expect but this camp
blew away any preconceived notions I may have
had. Everyone was so friendly and awesome.
Spending time with friends and doing activities
to learn is one of the neatest things you can
do. I had such a blast. Great friends, great
folks, great food! It was a very fun week.
