- Wear headphones
- Sit (or stand) very near camera, encourage
subject to talk to you and forget camera

- Roll as soon as you can - Dont let the subject
tell you important info while youre setting up. - ID interviewer, date, location, subject
- Instruct Subject to introduce him/herself spell
name if necessary - Get job title, if relevant

the conversation going with easy questions set
comfort level - Steer, dont lead
- Act ignorant (not stupid)
