Title: Welcome to the
1Welcome to the Sensational Sustainability Social
2What is Sustainability?
The ability to provide for the needs of the
world's current population without damaging the
ability of future generations to provide for
themselves. When a process is sustainable, it can
be carried out over and over without negative
environmental effects or impossibly high costs to
anyone involved.- Agenda 21(not verbatim)

18So, what next? How do I get involved? Why should
I? What are the time commitments?
Coming all of October Fair Trade Month movie
screenings, free FT food, contests, fair trade
debate, first OEOJ/SESC/GC meetings of the
quarter and more. Get involved by talking to us,
give us your email/phone, come to our first
meeting or if you cant then at least come to our
events. You should get involved because you
should care about social justice and environ-
mental protection and you can make a difference.
And because it actually is loads of fun working
and partying (yes, we party/chill too). We are
all really close. Try joining one of the college
boards/student gov groups and see if the members
are ¼th as close/fun as us. Time commitments are
whatever you want them to be. We are all super
super busy. Light weight activism takes about 2
hours a week. Hardcore activists (Yuki status)
spend much much more time!
