OVERVIEW
  • I2C is a two-wire, bi-directional serial bus that
    provides a simple and efficient method of data
    transmission over a short distance between many
    devices. It can work as a master transmitter or
    master receiver depending on working mode
    determined by microprocessor/microcontroller. The
    DI2CX cores incorporates all features required by
    the latest I2C specification including clock
    synchronization, arbitration, multi-master
    systems and High-speed transmission mode. They
    can work as a transmitter or receiver depending
    on working mode. Built-in timers allows operation
    from a wide range of the clk frequencies.

I2C Controllers
  • DI2CM I2C Bus controller Master realize master
    communication between microprocessor /
    microcontroller and I2C Bus. Allow operations as
    I2C master transmitter and I2C Master receiver.
  • DI2CS - I2C Bus controller Slave realize slave
    communication between microprocessor /
    microcontroller and I2C Bus. Allow operations as
    I2C Slave receiver and I2C Slave transmitter.
  • DI2CSB I2C Bus controller Slave base version
    realize communication between I2C Bus and a
    passive devices like LCD drivers, memories etc.
