What is CTEI/ACTE?

• The professional organization through which we as
  career and technical educators reach the eyes and
  ears of the decision makers who affect our future.

• The Career and Technical Educators of Idaho is
  your state career and technical organization
  comprised of affiliated divisions representing
  all fields of career and technical education.

• The Career and Technical Educators of Idaho works
  on your behalf at the state level. It is the
  forum for expression of your interests to the
  State Legislature, State Board, and Governor
  through cooperation with the State Administrator
  of Professional-Technical Education.

• To unify all the career and technical education
  interests of the State through representative
  membership.

• To inform the people of the State, including
  elected officials, of the purposes, needs, and
  accomplishments of career and technical education.

• To emphasize and encourage the promotion and
  improvement of career and technical education.

• To promote professional development for all
  career and technical educators.

• To affiliate and cooperate with the program of
  the Association for Career and Technical
  Education.

• ADVOCACY The Career and Technical Educators of
  Idaho works on your behalf at the state level.
  The Legislative Committee expresses your
  interests to the State Legislature, State Board
  of Education, and Governor through cooperation
  with the State Administrator of
  Professional-Technical Education.
• LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES CTEI sponsors year-round
  professional development for members.
• CONNECTIONS WITH INDUSTRY CTEI sponsors and
  organizes the Professional-Technical Educators'

• GRANTS CTEI offers 500 grants for division
  professional development activities.
