INTRODUCTION TO SUBTITLING DUBBING
WORKSHOP OBJECTIVE In this six-day, 20-hour
workshop, we will explore the art of audio-visual
language transfer methods, namely, subtitling
dubbing. This workshop will introduce students to
translation theory and techniques, while focusing
on the technical and visual constraints presented
by this form of translation/adaptation. The
course will include both theoretical and
practical components, culminating in the
subtitling and dubbing of a UEES promotional
video.  This interdisciplinary and
multicultural course is offered to students of
Translation Interpretation, Communications,
Education and Journalism. All others are welcome,
of course! If you are not a UEES student, you
must register 48 hrs. in advance.(Personas que
