Title: Embedded International Topical Meeting
1International Congress on Advanced Nuclear Power
Plants (ICAPP)
Embedded International Topical Meeting 2002 ANS
Annual Meeting June 9-13, 2002 The Diplomat
Hotel Hollywood, Florida, USA
CALL FOR PAPERS
Abstract Deadline January 15, 2002 Online
Submission www.ans.org/ICAPP
- About the Meeting
- This international meeting (congress) will bring
together all the international members of the
nuclear industry involved in the operation,
development, building, regulation and research
related to advanced Nuclear Power Plants. The
program is expected to cover lessons learned from
operating plants operation and maintenance,
safety, structures, materials, technical
specifications, human factors, system design and
reliability. The program will cover the full
spectrum of Nuclear Power Plant issues from Early
Deployment of Plants to future designs and
advanced systems. - The technical program will consist of invited
plenary and panel sessions and in-depth and
focused technical sessions. The technical
sessions will be organized along specific areas
of technical interest to enable experts in that
field to have meaningful interactions and cross
fertilization of ideas. - This congress will have full-length technical
papers, which will be reviewed and published on a
CDROM, available at the meeting. Papers of
archival quality will be recommended for
publication in special issues of Nuclear Science
Engineering and Nuclear Technology. All authors
will be expected to present their papers in
English at the congress. - Online Submission of Abstracts
- Authors should submit a one-page 400 word
abstract (text only) with name, affiliation,
address, phone, fax and e-mail information on
line at www.ans.org/ICAPP or send e-mail
attachments to icapp_at_ans.org by January 15, 2002.
Please indicate the intended topical area. - Instructions for full-length papers (8-10 pages)
will be posted on the web along with all updated
information about this meeting. - Co-Sponsored by the Atomic Energy Society of
Japan
