MISSION

• The Centre is dedicated to attaining the highest
  level of occupational health and safety for
  Manitoba workers by delivering services that
  improve workplace conditions and by empowering
  individuals and groups to take action on
  workplace health and safety issues

• Young teenagers, summer students
• Immigrant Workers those with ESL
• Aging

• Ergonomics
• Stress bullying, harassment, workload,
  discrimination, respectful workplace issues,
  violence
• Environmental factors noise, lighting
• Biological agents communicable diseases,
  needlestick injuries
• Chemicals cancer causing agents

• Library of work related literature and research
  available to all
• Access to Fact Sheets available on website and in
  the library
• Ongoing education with HS committees
• Train-the-Trainer sessions eg. Ergonomics,
  Immigrant Community Groups
• Presenting position papers at public hearings,
  advocacy
