A rifled gun is a repeating firearm, also known as repeating rifles, which usually have a fixed barrel and a revolving cylinder, so that each time the trigger is pulled the bore spins, thus firing the gun. The term refers to any gun in which the action of firing is caused by the spinning of a fixed or revolving cylinder. The actual barrels in repeating rifles are sometimes conical, circular or flat. Rifled firearms are particularly useful in concealed carry, as they offer a less conspicuous way to carry a weapon than their other types. Checkout discount ammo
While the term refers to rifles that use grooves in their barrels, it is commonly used to describe any repeating rifle having a barrel having a similar construction to the repeating rifles of the past. In modern times, however, this term has come to refer to any type of repeating rifle having a similar design to an old design. Some of the most famous repeating rifles of the 20th century are the Mauser and the Walther. The most famous example of a rifled firearm being adopted by the armed forces is the M1 Thompson.

The first rifles that can be classified as being of the type were the Chauchampel rifles, developed by the arms maker, Chappel. This made the French military one of the first Western countries to employ the use of rifles in war. In 1815, Chappel began making a prototype repeating rifle that had a handguard and a breechblock and was fitted with a telescope and a locking mechanism. It was this type of rifle that would later be adopted as the MA rifles, or Manual-action rifles, of the French army. The name MA comes from the French word mort, which means "the hand-operated" buy 9mm ammo
