- The purpose of this document is to explain to
users how to navigate the JSE website. - Navigation

4JSE Navigation You can navigate this site in
the following ways
Main Navigation The JSE Main Website and
sub-brands are all accessible via the tab
navigation structure at the top of each page.
When a user enters a certain section, the
relevant tab will be highlighted to indicate
which site they are viewing.
User login area The login area for the JSE
portal and sub-brands is always positioned in the
upper right-hand corner of the site. This
provides quick access to the Financial Portal,
Contact page and Login Area.
5JSE Navigation You can navigate this site in
the following ways
Left-hand Navigation Closed
Left-hand Navigation Open
The LHS navigation has two components The Quick
Links drop-down menu is incorporated into the top
of the left-hand navigation for quick access to
important information. The LHS navigation
appears on every page, and will change according
to the brand selected form the Main Tab
Navigation. This menu lists the main sections of
each brand.
When targeting a section in the LHS navigation
with subcategories, the fly-out menu will appear
to guide users to that page.
6JSE Navigation You can navigate this site in
the following ways
Horizontal Navigation
Search This functionality are always
incorporated in the Horizontal Navigation bar.
Users can type a keyword into the search box to
search the JSE website.
Horizontal navigation This consists of links to
useful information for users Help FAQ
Glossary Sitemap. This appears on every page of
the website.
Service Tools
Service Toolbar This include links and icons to
Print, Email and Bookmark this page in all
of the JSE sites. Certain sub-brands also include
a Toll-Free number.
7JSE Navigation You can navigate this site in
the following ways
Breadcrumb Trail All pages excluding the JSE
homepage include a breadcrumb trail - breadcrumb
navigation shows the user's path to their current
location. Each item in the breadcrumb trail is
clickable in order for the user to navigate back
to a previous page.
Footer Navigation At the bottom of every page
users can make use of the Footer Navigation to
navigate to basic information pages on the
website About the JSE FAQ Contact us
Sitemap Privacy Policy and a link to bookmark
the page.

9SAFEX - Changes
- SAFEX is a sub brand of the JSE, consisting of
two divisions - SAFEX Financial Derivatives
- SAFEX Agricultural Derivatives
- Therefore the current www.safex.co.za website
serves two clearly separated target audiences and
needs to offer separate entry points on the
website for these user groups. - Connectivity to each site has now been separated
and new sites have been built. These sites can be
accessed by using the following URLs- - SAFEX Equity Derivatives www.safex.co.za\ed
- SAFEX Agricultural Derivatives
www.safex.co.za\ap - At any stage - when visiting one of the new sites
and you do not know where to find something,
please utilise the following tools- - Use the search function to find a descriptive
word or phrase - Look at the Sitemap as displayed on each of the
websites main pages.
