Audit

• Patients seen for Homoeopathic podiatry, were
  given a questionnaire to fill in at the end of
  treatment the following questions were asked 674
  patients completed treatment.

Audit

• The second question dealt with changes in foot
  problems achieved following treatment. With all
  groups except 084 there was almost 100 of very
  good improvement and the remainder showing slight
  improvement, and only a small number in 084
  showing no change.
• The third question dealt with pain relief
  experienced during treatment, which amounted to
  100 completely in almost all groups with the
  remainder showing Good relief.
•  
• The fourth question dealt with satisfaction with
  clinical treatment, which was 100 satisfaction.
• The last question was, would they come to see a
  Homoeopathic podiatrist again? The overall result
  was 100 yes.

SUMMARY

• The results of this audit have shown how
  effectively the service has been both cost
  effective and highly clinically significant.
• 1.      Short waiting list compared to local
  service provider.
• 2.      Continuity of treatment by one
  practitioner
• 3.      Increased scope of practice, cutting down
  the requirement for further referrals.
• 4.      Cost effective with potential to provide
  to other purchasers.
