4Ephesians 320 (KJV) Now unto him that is able
to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask
or think, according to the power that worketh in
us,
51 Kings 171 (NLT) Now Elijah, who was from
Tishbe in Gilead, told King Ahab, "As surely as
the LORD, the God of Israel, lives--the God whom
I worship and serve--there will be no dew or rain
during the next few years unless I give the
word!"
61 Kings 172-3 (NLT) 2 Then the LORD said to
Elijah, 3 "Go to the east and hide by Kerith
Brook at a place east of where it enters the
Jordan River.
71 Kings 174-6 (NLT) 4 Drink from the brook and
eat what the ravens bring you, for I have
commanded them to bring you food. 5So Elijah did
as the LORD had told him and camped beside Kerith
Brook.
86 The ravens brought him bread and meat each
morning and evening, and he drank from the brook.
"
91 Kings 177 (NLT) But after a while the brook
dried up, for there was no rainfall anywhere in
the land.
101 Kings 1710-12 (KJV) 10 So he went to
Zarephath. As he arrived at the gates of the
village, he saw a widow gathering sticks, and he
asked her, "Would you please bring me a cup of
water?"
1111 As she was going to get it, he called to her,
"Bring me a bite of bread, too." 12 But she said,
"I swear by the LORD your God that I don't have a
single piece of bread in the house.
12And I have only a handful of flour left in the
jar and a little cooking oil in the bottom of the
jug. I was just gathering a few sticks to cook
this last meal, and then my son and I will die."
131 Kings 1713-14 (KJV) 13 But Elijah said to her,
"Don't be afraid! Go ahead and cook that last
meal,' but bake me a little loaf of bread first.
Afterward there will still be enough food for you
and your son.
1414 For this is what the LORD, the God of Israel,
says There will always be plenty of flour and
oil left in your containers until the time when
the LORD sends rain and the crops grow again!"
151 Kings 1715-16 (KJV) 15 So she did as Elijah
said, and she and Elijah and her son continued to
eat from her supply of flour and oil for many
days.
1616 For no matter how much they used, there was
always enough left in the containers, just as the
LORD had promised through Elijah.
172 Corinthians 910 (KJV) Now he that ministereth
seed to the sower both minister bread for your
food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase
the fruits of your righteousness)
182 Corinthians 910 (Message) This most generous
God who gives seed to the farmer that becomes
bread for your meals is more than extravagant
with you. He gives you something you can then
give away, which grows into full-formed lives,
robust in God,
19Mark 430-32 (KJV) And he said, Whereunto shall
we liken the kingdom of God? or with what
comparison shall we compare it? 31 It is like a
grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in
the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in
the earth
2032 But when it is sown, it groweth up, and
becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out
great branches so that the fowls of the air may
lodge under the shadow of it.
