Auto Darkening Feature

• This helmet is equipped with Auto Darkening
  Feature. This means you wont have to open or
  take off your helmet to check what you are
  welding. Enough light is provided and absorbed by
  the helmets glass on the contrary, it also
  shades your eyes when the welding is going on.
  Thanks to its Liquid Crystal Display, it allows
  you to see lighter or darker depending on the
  need.

• This product has several light sensors which help
  you decide and apply the exact amount of shade
  you need for the job. This application does not
  take too long, in fact it just happens in

• - Sorry! I don't know for sure, I don't have
  any of the paper work on it anymore and it's not
  marked on the hood anywhere.

What Customers Say About It?

• This thing is heavy. After a full day welding
  your neck will know it too. Nature of the beast
  though I suppose for such a large auto darkening
  welding hood. It works great and the suspension
  system is nice and comfortable. The range of
  shades is good for all tasks although I typically
  don't wear it for grinding. It's relatively dark
  when not darkened. I like it thus far.
• This Welding Helmet is so much better than my
  previous one. I am so pleased! I am a hobby
  welder, I chose this one because the pros like
  it, they were right.
