value of work, who can be able to carry youth and
involve more young people in TU activities - Offer internships for young peoples develop
internal TUs programmes involving youngs
(specially students) on a short-time basis - Benefits for TUs creating and training futures
trade unionists with a fresh know-how - Benefits for interns working experience,
developing of communication skills, establishing
of contacts

ATTRACTIVE FOR YOUTH?
- Simple distribution (in universities, schools,
youth centers, employment agencies) of brochures,
popularizing TU and its activities, indicate core
information of rights etc. Make it in clear and
compactly. - Make regular seminars and meetings, education
programmes (also together with other youth
organizations) to rise awareness of youth about
TU activity, for leadership skills development
etc.

- Be visible for youth for ex consider students
having part-time jobs, explain to them their
working rights and membership benefits! - Organize fairs and other direct meeting between
potential employers and young job seekers - Organize public debates on topic in the context
of TU activities

- Engage with workers in their place of work,
especially in types of occupations where young
workers are engaged in - Have issues concerning young workers, such as
precarious work, as priority issues in trade
unions agendas - Relate more directly trade union activities with
improvement of the work situation of young
workers. - Develop solidarity links with the situation of
young workers in other countries - such as
anti-discrimination and anti-exploitation
campaigns.
