Habitat

• Kookaburras live mostly in northeastern
  Australia.
• They also live in woodland areas that are wet and
  cold.
• Kookaburras are often seen in forest to.

Feeding

• A kookaburra eats small snakes, lizards, frogs,
  fish and smaller birds.

Threats

• When people use poison on bugs, the kookaburras
  will eat them and get very sick or die.
• When people cut down trees they also destroy
  homes for the kookaburras.
