• The kookaburra's territorial call sounds somewhat
  like loud, raucous laughter.
• How does it kill snakes??
• Kookaburras kill snakes by banging them on tree
  branches or rocks, which also serves the function
  of softening the snake.

• Platypuses breed just once a year, laying one to
  three eggs at a time.

• The echidna gained its scientific name of
  Tachyglossus, which means "fast tongue", because
  it can flick its tongue in and out up to 100
  times per minute.

6.How did the kangaroo get that name??

• The kangaroo is an odd animal, but the reason it
  is called so is even stranger. When the first
  explorer saw one in Australia, he asked a native
  Aborigine what its name was. Not understanding
  his question, he said 'Kan-Ga-Roo', which is 'I
  don't know' in the Aboriginal language.

Guinea. How many species(kinds) of kangaroos are
there??

• There are about 63 types of kangaroo. All but the
  tree-kangaroos are native to Australia alone.

• Natural predators of the yellow-footed rock
  wallaby are wedge tail eagles, seen to swoop on
  the wallabies when they are exposed on rocky
  outcrops.

10. Emus are a large, flightless bird native to
Australia. What do some people do with emu eggs??

• Some people etch emu eggs. Because emu eggs are a
  deep green color, with other shades of green
  revealed underneath, some people are skilled in
  the art of carving and etching them. This is a
  highly specialized skill, but the etching reveals
  new layers of color light, dark and in between.

• Humans are taller than Thylacines (Tasmanian
  tigers) were. Adult Tasmanian tigers stood about
  50-60 cm (average 59cm) at the shoulder.
• Where can you see a living one today??
• The Tasmanian tiger, or Thylacine, is no longer
  living anywhere, as far as is known. It was found
  in Australia, specifically on the island state of
  Tasmania.

about if you have wombats??

• They may fight and kill one another over many
  things like greed because of the food other
  things such as having babies if they get along
  and you may not want more wombats those are the
  things you should worry about If you have
  wombats, the only thing to worry about is being
  caught by the authorities for illegally having
  Australian native wildlife. If you have a
  wildlife career's license, you already have the
  information you need.

food will be needed?? What do they drink??

• Koalas love leaves. All plants contain water, but
  it can be difficult to reach. The koalas slow
  and efficient digestive system absorbs all
  moisture from its food.
