Both words have the suffix ware, which means
something thats a useful tool. We use similar
words to describe similar things, and then make
words distinctive by adding a word to show whats
different. Why does one word use the prefix
hard and the other use the prefix soft?
Sometimes we have to even invent new words for
things that didnt previously exist!
