3What do I need in order to get started?
- Get a picture of yourself (Diane can take one or
you can bring your school picture to be scanned). - Unit titles for the lessons you teach throughout
the course of a year. - A list of your professional affiliations
- Photographs, pictures, projects, or any
memorabilia that you have that pertains to your
class.
4Click on Start
5Move your mouse up to Programs
Then, click on Microsoft PowerPoint
6Click on Open and existing presentation
Then, use the scroll bar to find the
TemplateOpenHouse
7Double click here
8This is what you will use to make your own
presentation. All you need to do is fill in
information pertaining to you and your subject
matter. It is that easy!
Click on the home button for more instructions.
9Click your curser next to the parenthesis and you
will notice that this box shows up around the
words. This tells you that you are working in
this space.

10Next, highlight (Your Subject) . Type in the
subject that you teach.

name.

Double click to add clip art

which contains clip art that pertains to the
subject matter you teach. Double click that
category.

14When you find an image that you like, double
click it. It will automatically become part of
your presentation.

You can insert more information on subsequent
slides by clicking here

Change the information on this slide in the same
manner that you changed information on the
previous slide Continue until you finish the
project

Click on the file menu this box will appear
Next, click on Save As

Choose a place to save it. Remember this place.

Name your project. Choose a name that you will
remember. Type it here.
