Enjoying baseball from a Wrigleyville Rooftop
2
  • Wrigley field has become a popular annual
    destination for thousands of baseball
enthusiasts. The district that is bordered by the
lake, offers up luscious green fields, and
usually provides an enticing summer climate.

3
  • During spring and fall especially, warm, sunny
conditions are often accompanied by great
weather, which encourage residents to come out to
Wrigley Field. When these conditions are
accompanied by Cubs games, there is no better
place to experience the fun than from one of the
    Wrigleyville rooftops.

4
  • The constructors of Wrigley field implemented a
friendly design without fence screens that
families residing in nearby outside buildings to
    view on going matches.

6
  • Before the 1980s it was not a problem to have a
couple of people watch the matches for free on
top of the buildings on Waveland Ave and
    Sheffield.

7
  • The total number of Wrigleyville Rooftop guests
have increased steadily over the past 3 decades
and this has become a concern for Cubs
management. Some rooftop owners went and put a
full range of bleacher seats on their roofs with
little regulation, this obviously posed a danger
to the Cubs brand if there were an issue.

8
  • The management attempted to erect screens and sue
these owners and so the trend of visitors was
temporarily reduced. As the demand for tickets
grew, the space inside the field could not be
enough for the large number of fans despite the
    numerous attempts of expansion.

  • The Wrigley field management had to pull back on
their previous hard stance on surrounding
building owners. An agreement was then signed
between the two parties and local authorities
that the buildings would be allowed to host fans
provided that they met the safety standards and
were willing to share some of the revenue with
    the club.

11
  • Every authorized Wrigleyville rooftop today
adheres to strict safety requirements and
    procedures.

12
  • The house owners are allowed to set their own
pricing and some even offer additional services
including provision of snacks, availability of
waiters, full catering services. If you intend to
watch the match with friends and family, ensure
    that you secure group seats.

13
  • Do not assume that ordering for multiple seats
means that they will be together. There is
private space for larger groups but consult with
CompareWrigleyRooftops for a better idea of what
    each facility has to offer.

14
  • Generally, cheaper tickets do not necessarily
come with the full service VIP packages. The
rooftop staff offers a very high minimum standard
of service, which makes for a wonderful rooftop
    experience.

  • With time, watching matches from a Wrigleyville
rooftop has become a preference of many. This is
because raised positions give you the advantage
of seeing every detail of what is happening in
the field of play. You therefore do not have to
secure an infield ticket in fact, a few
buildings are well positioned such that you get
even better viewing advantage than some of those
    in the inside the park.

17
  • Throughout the time spent at one of the
