Rectangles

• To find the area of a Rectangle you find the
  length and find the width and times them
  together. The formula for this is ALxW

• To find the area of a triangle you find the
  length and height of the triangle and times them
  together. Then you half the answer to get the
  area. The formula for this is ALxH/2

• To find the area of a Parallelogram . Find the
  base length and then find the height of it then
  times it together. If there is a extra measure
  that is for the perimeter or it is a red herring
  it is a measure that trying to confuse you

Compound Shape

• To find the area of a compound shape you split
  the shape into easy parts and find the length and
  width of it and then do the same with the other
  part and add them together.
