Geography
The largest mangrove in the world is found in
Bengal, and is home to the Royal Bengal Tiger. It
was declared endangered in 1997. Chota
Pashla, West Begal, has 1 snake for 2 every
residents, mainly the posinous Moncold Cobra.
The Hindu villages worshiped the snakes as
represntetives of gods.

Economy
Rice is the staple food. Other crops are
Patatoes, Maize, Oil Seeds, ect. West Bengal is
now the third fastest growing Economy in the
country.

Music
Folk music in Bengal is often accompanied by the
Ektara. Other instruments include the
dotara, dhol, flute, and tabla.

There are many wildlife sanctuaries in Orissa.
The highest mountain peak in the state is
Deomali. The capital is Bhubaneshwar.
It is famed for its stunning temples.

Orissa is connected with the India and the world
by Airports, roads, railways, and Seaports.

The classic dance of Orissa is Odissi.
Culture
The official language is Oriya, Spoken by the
majority of the citizens.
