There has been a lot of work going on (and yes,
some fun, too).

• 2,110 students, 160 residential faculty, 117
  adjunct faculty, and 135 non-faculty employees
  have responded to date. The student survey was
  the SACE. Ten custom items addressing the
  criteria were added. The faculty, non-faculty
  employee, and community surveys were developed.
  The items directly correspond to evidence
  requests from the committees.

• There have been three facilitated faculty
  discussion groups. Topics addressed learning,
  scholarship, pedagogy, and diversity. 37 faculty
  participated in all. (Only 8 of these are also
  on a self-study committee.)

• Department chairs are currently being
  interviewed. Ten are completed, and all are
  scheduled before the semester ends. Questions
  stem from the requests for evidence submitted.

Strategic Conversations

• Southern Dobson October 30th
• Red Mountain November 21st

• Over 120 persons from all employee groups
  attended one of the conversations. Table
  discussions focused on questions related to each
  of the five criteria.

Criterion Committees

• Each criterion committee will meet between Feb.
  2th and Feb. 13th for an evidence interpretation
  workshop prior to their regular meetings.
• Regular progress reports will be submitted from
  each criterion committee.
• Completed draft of evidence interpretation by the
  end of March/April (is it possible? yes, its
  going to be crazy).

Distance Learning Degree Operational Indicators

• Each group will meet with Resource Team between
  February 16th and 27th to discuss their sections
  of the report prior to the start of their ongoing
  meetings.
• Completed draft of chapter by end of May.

  Tuesday, March 30th (yes, it could be chilly).
