4WD Vehicle
  • Modified vs Accessorised - the difference?
  • Accessories are added to a vehicle - may increase
    the overall value
  • Modifications replace existing components and do
    not increase value
  • Most insurers limit accessories to 10
  • We allow up to 50 accessories
  • Most insurers will not touch modifications
  • We allow most legal modifications

5
4WD Vehicle
  • Agreed value vs Market value
  • Market value changes daily, agreed is fixed
  • All accessories and modifications should be noted
    on both policy types
  • Noting accessories on a market value policy does
not increase the market value, it simply notes
them in case of theft etc.
  • Agreed value usually costs more as you are
    insuring for a higher figure
  • Market value is OK with few accessories
