  • Since opening our first store in the UK
    in 1997, BBs Coffee Muffins has now become the
    largest Shopping Centre Café operator in the UK
    and Ireland. 
  • In addition to being the leading coffee shop
    operator in that sector, BBs is the 5th largest
    coffee-focussed food operator in the UK, the 2nd
    largest in Ireland and the 10th largest in
    Europe.
  • Being able to offer high quality products
    at a reasonable price in a friendly and
    welcoming atmosphere helps us serve the kind of
    affordable luxuries that customers want and
    allows us to deliver a truly unique café
    experience thats often copied, but never
    equalled.

    premium coffee, indulgent smoothies, freshly
    prepared baguettes and mouth-watering muffins,

Our Hallmarks
From the time the very first BBs café opened in
Australia over 20 years ago, high standards and
quality, freshly prepared food, value for money
prices and good service have been our hallmarks.
Coffee is our passion
We use only specially selected 100 Arabica
beans in our own exclusive blend and our baristas
are trained to make perfect coffee each time. We
dont just offer espresso, cappuccino, or latte
we can top different coffees with whipped cream
so customers can enjoy a Dutch or Vienna style
coffee as well. For those weight conscious
customers Skinniccino is the perfect option.

  • In addition to our coffee BBs is famous for its
    legendary muffins which are handmade in our cafes
    every day from the finest ingredients to BBs
    very own special recipes.
  • In fact we have a range of products that are
    prepared and made fresh in our cafes every day.
    Our crusty baguettes all 10 inches of them
    are baked in store too, together with our sweet
    and savoury pastries. Each day we prepare a
    variety of baguettes, bloomers, wraps and other
    sandwiches, crammed full with fresh ingredients.
  • Its this quality of handmade and freshness that
    makes BBs so special.

  • We also offer award-winning New Zealand Natural
    premium ice cream, sorbet and frozen yoghurt.
    Its delicious and natural with no artificial
    colours or flavourings. It is manufactured in
    New Zealand to its own exclusive recipes from the
    finest New Zealand dairy products. We serve it
    in cones, cups and sundaes as well as use it to
    make our unique iced coffees, smoothies and
    ice-cream milk shakes.

Mystery Shop programme. Many of our stores have

Fun Facts
  • At BBs Coffee Muffins we serve over 50,000
    customers a day in our cafés across the UK and
    Ireland.
  • During one year we serve at least 28 different
    flavours of muffins on a regular basis plus 12
    delicious Muffin of the Month recipes
  • The biggest muffin eaters are the customers of
    our cafés at Bluewater, Hartlepool, Poole,
    Southampton, Glasgow, Dalton Park, Fareham,
    Kirkcaldy and Bristol.
  • Sticky Toffee is our top-selling muffin closely
    challenged by Raspberry Apple Crumble and
    Chocolate Chip.
  • We put over 22,000 kg of chocolate chips and
    20,000 apple pieces into our muffins each year -
    equivalent to the weight of six African
    elephants!
  • Our best muffin bakers make and bake 18,000
    muffins a month.
  • We sell over 1 million baguettes each year and
    the top flavour is egg mayonnaise.
  • If we stretched out all the baguettes we sell
    each year end to end, they would reach from
    London to Newcastle.
  • Each year our customers drink the equivalent of
    two Olympic swimming pools full of coffee!  And
    most of this is drunk in cappuccinos.
  • We sell over 1.8 million delicious creamy iced
    drinks each year anything from coffee-based
    Cappuchillos to fruit smoothies and milkshakes. 
  • All our chilled drinks are made using a scoop of
    ice cream amounting to over 20,000 kilos a year
    - equivalent to the weight of 175 sumo wrestlers.
    The top seller is our Mango Tango smoothie.
  • Customers in our White Rose café in Leeds eat the
    most ice cream!  Our top selling flavour is
    Chocolate Ecstasy and when you add all the
    flavours together, BBs customers eat 125,000
    litres a year thats a lot of scoops!

    will provide you with the operational and
    management tools you will need to achieve and

  • We consider training to be of paramount
    importance. As a new BB's Coffee Muffins
    franchise or business partner, you will receive
    comprehensive and ongoing training, to ensure you
    and your team can deliver the highest quality
    products and services to your customers.
  • The initial training course is a competency-based
    programme conducted at our BBs Training Academy
    and in total you will be asked to complete a 5
    week training programme before full operational
    approval is given to operate your store.
  • We will provide you with the support network from
    our preferred BBs Coffee Muffins shopfitting
    partners who will deliver the highest standards
    in terms of shopfit and finish. This will ensure
    that your own time can be focussed against
    operational training and recruitment and training
    of your new team.
  • We will also provide you with support in terms of
    the preparation for your store opening and guide
    you with your first orders from our approved
    supply chain network.
  • During your first week of trading we will also
    help you settle into your store and ensure that
    the skills acquired in training are successfully
    put into practice.
