• Pat Mc Court, a past pupil from St. Brigids
  College, our school, plays for our local soccer
  team, the wonderful Derry City FC.

• John Duddy is another past pupil from our school,
  St. Brigids College.
• He is currently IBA middleweight champion of the
  world.

• Nadine Coyle from Derry is a famous singer.
• She is a member of the girl group, Girls Aloud.
• Sound of the Underground was their first UK
  number 1.

• Martin Mc Guinness is a leading politician from
  Derry.
• He is the Deputy First Minister in our local
  assembly.
• He used to be the Minister for Education.

• Martin ONeill was educated at St. Columbs
  College in Derry.
• He has been a manager of the following football
  teams Leicester City, Celtic and (currently)
  Aston Villa.
• He was capped for Northern Ireland several times.
