As part of their coursework and towards part of
their qualification, the students of the
Intermediate Dog Grooming Course are required to
put on an event relating to Dogs. After class
discussions it was decided to run a dog show.
The students are on a 3 term, part-time course.
It introduces basic restraint handling
techniques, as well as how to use a wide variety
of equipment to bath and dry all types of dogs
ready for clipping and grooming. Basic clipping,
stripping and scissoring techniques are covered.

The students decided amongst themselves that all
proceeds will be split between three
charities. The Raysteade Centre For Animal

Entries from 11am Judging starts at 12
noon Displays, Free Parking, Prize Tombola,
Refreshments Trade Stands If the weather is
bad, the event will be moved inside.

Train A regular train service runs to Lewes
station where a connecting bus to the college can
be caught. Check here for timetables.
