tremendous sacrifice of time for
stuff microwave, coffee maker, motorcycle,

All adults working as hard as is possible for the
stuff of modern living computer, cello,
electronic keyboard, drums, violin, radio.

Fans, electronic rice maker, electronic hot water
heater they all, spill out of the kitchen to
spread everywhere.
5These possessions are just too many the
appliances, the musical instruments, the
bookstoo stacked to keep contained within the
framework of a traditional Japanese farmhouse.
