- to raise the public awareness about the
importance of science education in the US and
abroad, and - to heighten the enthusiasm for science and
technology learning and understanding across
all demographics.Theme is intended to encompass
several different - areas, but still allow individual sites to select
topics specific for the strengths of - your science center,
- your school, and
- your community.

- All projects should be inquiry based and contain
scientific ideas - that are connected to society.
- Science content connected to major concepts,
principles and - science standards.
- Investigations should lead to an understanding
of underlying - concepts and principles.
- The website should reflect student activities
and convey the - science that has taken place in the classroom.
- The illustrations, photos, and graphics should
reinforce concepts. - The website should be a workbench of your total
experience - in the classroom (offline and online), and
provide an example - for other teachers to replicate in their
classroom.
