Title: The dynamics of Newton's laws Kalie Ginter

1
The dynamics of Newtons laws
  • Dynamics are the study of forces that cause
    motion.
  • By Kalie Ginter

2
Magnetic forces
  • Magnetic forces are produced by moving electric
    charges
  • Positive to negative attracts
  • Positive to positive repels
  • Negative to negative repels
  • Ex On a magnetic bullet train there is a
positive magnet on the back and positive magnets
on the track, which repels and moves the train.

3
Electric forces
  • The forces that appears when you push on
    something with your hands.
  • This appears when the electrons of the hand is
brought close to the electrons of an object.
  • When two object come in contact
  • Ex When you high five somebody its a electric
    force.

4
Gravitational forces
  • Gravitational forces is a extremely weak for
    compared to the other forces.
  • Ex two tennis balls are held one meter apart,
the gravitational force between them are
0.00000000001 newton's the forces in the other
    hand can be way great such as 500 000 000 000 000
    000 000 newton's.

5
Weak interaction and nuclear force
  • Nuclear forces are much stronger then any other
    force.
  • Weak interactions is the force that cause some
    atoms to break down.
  • But neither of them are observable because there
    in the nucleus.

6
Newton's first law
  • An object at rest must stay at rest until a
    forces is acted upon it.
  • An object in motion will stay in motion till a
    forces is acted upon it.
  • Ex when your in car you will keep going until a
force such as the break is acted upon it.

7
Newtons second law
  • If you exert the same force on two objects of
different mass, you will get different
    accelerations.
  • Ex a tennis ball and a ping pong ball are both
dropped from the top of a building ones
acceleration was be faster and one will be
    slower.

8
Newtons third law
  • For every action there is an equal and opposite
    reaction.
  • Ex you find it hard to walk on a slippery
surface because the only way you can walk forward
is for your foot to push backward on the surface
of the ground. Through friction, the ground is
essentially pushing back against the force of
    your step.

9
FMxA
  • Force equals mass times acceleration
  • Ex 10020x5

10
MF/A
  • Mass equals force divided by acceleration
  • Ex11585/5

11
AM/F
  • Acceleration equals mass divide by force
  • Ex7515/5

12
WMxG
  • Weight equals mass times gravity
  • Ex 124x3

13
MW/G
  • Mass equals weight divide by gravity
  • Ex 459/5

14
GW/M
  • Gravity equals weight times mass
  • Ex 55/1
