- Organization Goals
- Education To work with the Kellogg community to
improve their understanding of private equity and
venture capital through a range of speakers,
competitions, treks and other activities. - Networking To strengthen relationships with
Kellogg alumni and provide current students with
opportunities to interact with a wide range of
industry professionals. - Career To serve as a conduit for employers
seeking to hire Kellogg students and improve the
volume and scope of job opportunities available. - Recently changed name from Private Equity and
Entrepreneurship at Kellogg (PEEK) - One of the largest clubs at Kellogg

- Buyouts and Venture Capital are by nature very
broad areas a general business education is
essential for success in all - To support students education in these areas,
PEVC devised a list of recommended courses for
Buyouts and Venture Capital - Based on input from recent graduates who are
currently working for Buyouts and Venture Capital
firms - Students maintain flexibility to take courses
that best suit their interests - List available on the PEVC website
(www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/student/club/pevc/in
dex.htm) - PE / VC Club recommends students determine where
their educational needs are and choose courses
that best meet these needs

equity alumni community - Designing the conference program and
advertisements - Creating Day-off materials (gifts, brochures,
etc.) - Finance (1 person)
- Logistics (3 advanced planning, several on day of
event) - Sponsorship (2 people)
- Coordinate with sponsoring companies, serve as
primary contact, and solicit feedback on
benefits. Drive toward achieving P/L targets
while gaining exposure to recruiters and firms
