authority doest thou these things? and who gave
thee this authority? 25. The baptism of John,
whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they
reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall
say, From heaven he will say unto us, Why did ye
not then believe him?

withstood Uzziah the king, and said unto him, It
appertaineth not unto thee, Uzziah, to burn
incense unto the LORD, but to the priests the
sons of Aaron, that are consecrated to burn
incense go out of the sanctuary for thou hast
trespassed neither shall it be for thine honour
from the LORD God.

because the LORD had smitten him.

of God upon a new cart, and brought it out of the
house of Abinadab that was in Gibeah and Uzzah
and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, drave the new
cart.

It was to be carried by the sons of kohath
(levites) using the poles!

(Num.415) 15. And when Aaron and his sons have
made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all
the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to
set forward after that, the sons of Kohath shall
come to bear it but they shall not touch any
holy thing, lest they die. These things are the
burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of
the congregation.

Uzzah had no authority to touch the ark!

So we see that God wants things done the way
that He has authorized them to be done! Why?
God is the source of all authority not man.

giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
To do it in the name of Lord Jesus is to do it
by His authority!
