• Aperture
• The term is often interchanged with another
  appliance or upholstery related to cameras thats
  why a lot of people do not know how to tinker it
  and make beautiful images with aperture
  settings.
• Look at your cameras lens and you will see
  teeth-like features there. These features which
  also look like blades forming a hole control the
  amount of light that passes through your lens at
  any one time. The hole is called the aperture.

• The larger the opening of the blades means that
  more light gets through. The smaller the hole
  means lesser light.
• The size of the aperture will determine how the
  images behind and in front of your focus will
  look like. For example if you are taking a photo
  of your friend with a crowd of people on his
  back, alarger aperture will make the background
  blurry but a smaller aperture will make the
  background, in this case the crowd, sharp.

• Shutter speed
• The term explains what it means. The shutter
  speed determines the length of time that your
  camera will allow light to get through the lens.
  Different cameras offer different shutter speeds
  and today the most advance cameras can even have
  a shutter speed as fast a half a billionth of a
  second.

• So how does shutter speed exactly affect your
  photography? Well for starters if you want to
  capture quick moments of thrill, excitement and
  rush, you should opt for a camera with high
  shutter speed. Sports photographers, for example,
  have cameras with high shutter speed to freeze
  the fast paced actions of sports.
• ISO
• The ISO is the standard rating for film speed.
  Your ISO cameras ISO number and light
  sensitivity are proportional meaning the lower
  the ISO number the more sensitive your camera is
  to light.

• Cameras usually have a base ISO of 100 to 200. If
  you want to stick to the safe side of capturing
  images, you should settle for the base ISO of
  your camera.
• If you are confident in experimenting with your
  cameras ISO, use the lowest ISO when you are
  shooting in a bright environment say, on a sunny
  day or when you are lazing on summer beach.
• When you are taking shots indoors or at night
  when there is no enough light, you may want to
  increase your cameras ISO. Thankfully, cameras
  have built in flash that helps in making up with
  the light requirements.

• Aperture, shutter speed and ISO are the most
  important factors that will result to good
  pictures. Learn how to apply these three plus
  your creativity and imagination and you will
  never go wrong.
