- You can help recruit your friends for the program
- You can be a support person for your friends who
quit through the K.I.S.S. (Keep It Sexy and
Smokefree) program - You can participate in events to recruit other
tobacco users - Or you can do all of the above

- An innovative program aimed at helping 16-29 year
olds quit smoking and chewing - Uses text messages and chat room discussions
- Incorporates Peer coaches (you and other Friends
of KISS) - A chance for participants to win prizes

- A chance to be entered in quarterly drawings for
Gift Certificates - 10.00 Gift Card for each friend you refer who

6Just Some Facts
- People can become addicted to nicotine after
using tobacco just a few times - Occasional or social smoking or dipping can be
harmful - Hookahs and pipes also contain nicotine and are
addictive
- Once addicted to nicotine its very hard to stop
using tobacco - According to 2004 Surgeon Generals Report

program and hasnt had a cigarette in a couple of
months. He is worried that the upcoming family
reunion will be a problem as he always smoked at
big family gatherings and might be tempted to
smoke again.

- Encourage Mike to talk to his family and let them
know of his concerns and ask for their support - If smoking occurs at the reunion, suggest Mike
