Capital Management Services
acquires land and interests in land to
accommodate projects in both the Capital and
Non-Capital Improvement Programs. Property is
acquired in fee simple and easement interests
through donation, purchase acquisition, and if
necessary, eminent domain.  Additionally the Real

How do I make a Facilities service request?If
its an emergency or you dont have access to
county e-mail, call the Call Center (861-5000).
In non-emergency situations, submit a service
request by e-mail to contactcenter_at_scgov.net.
Facilities staff provide service Monday through
Friday from 630 a.m. to 5 p.m.

in-demand beaches, trails, parks and recreation
facilities. With more than 200 parks, 109
athletic fields, 16 recreation and community
centers, miles of pristine beaches and more than
2000 acres of open space parkland Sarasota County
Parks and Recreation offers something for
everyone!     Our facilities are available for
private functions and events. We also offer a
variety of athletic, recreational and educational
programs and activities. We invite you to explore

Community Health and Human Services
Sarasota County Health Department provides health
care plus human and environmental services to
residents of Sarasota County, Florida. Our
medical and other programs help keep you, your
family, and the public healthy.  We offer clinics
with doctors and nurses, immunizations, STD and
pregnancy tests, WIC (nutrition), dental, HIV /
AIDS services, permits, mosquito management, and
human services.
