• Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta is a respected Indian
  politician.A true patriot, he was a freedom
  fighter and underwent imprisonment during British
  rule for five years. He held important political
  positions such as Member of Parliament, both Lok
  Sabha and Rajya Sabha and Pro tem Chairman of
  Rajya Sabha.

College of Higher Education, Lucknow Northern

Northern India College of Pharmacy, New Delhi.

Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta has extensive knowledge
about journalism. In 2001, he started publication
of Indian Express (English daily) and Jansatta
Express (Hindi Daily) in collaboration with The
Indian Express Group. He was appointed as the
Chief Editor of Jansatta Express, an Hindi daily,
based from Lucknow in collaboration with Indian
Express and Quami Khabrein an Urdu daily, also
based out of Lucknow..
