  • Broadened and incorporated in 1950 as the MI
    Training Council
  • Council helped develop and became an affiliate of
    the American Society of Training Directors
  • Became the Greater Detroit chapter of the
    American Society of Training Directors in 1958
    (later became American Society of Training
    Development)
