Our previous study Modeling the demand and
supply structure for food in Asia forecasts
that demand for food will exceed its supply in
India and China by the year 2010. Both these
countries comprise over 40 of the total world
population. This shortage in supply will create
intense competition for food imports amongst
Asian countries. The increase in food demand
in China will have an immeasurable
influence on its neighboring countries..

It is imperative to build a Global Risk
Management System (GRMS) related to especially
resources such as water, food, electricity and
the environment. The GRMS will be a useful
educational tool not only for policy makers but
also for citizens. People will be able to
understand when and where food shortage is
expected to take place, and will be able to think
more responsibly about sustainable development.

The Earthbrowser exists, but we are thinking of
adding more information on this browser.

We hope this concept will lead to better
understanding and more effective management of
the World. we show you an example of building a
strategy. The shortage in food supply and the
increase in demand for food in the world will
result in price increase. For Japan to prepare
for this situation, it should consider 3 risks
such as the export industry, improvement (or
recovery) of self-sufficiency and maintaining the
self-sufficiency of another country. To cope with
these risks, Japan should attempt to remain
competitive through the creation of an advanced
and competitive industry. This concept is shown
in Figure shown bellows and want to add more
information on the earth browser.
