    indigenous peoples we will meet

  • 3-credit UW Colleges course
  • Register for special topics course
  • ANT 291--Indians of Ecuador, or
  • ENG 290Travel Narratives about South America
  • Enrollment limited to approximately 16 students
    from all 13 UW Colleges campuses
  • Students with some Spanish language ability will
    be given priority

Cost?
  • Approx. 3,300 (incl. travel, meals, lodging,
    tuition/fees)
  • Some scholarship money should be available for
    qualifying students

  • 2 days travel to and from U.S.
  • 5 days in and around Quito, capital of Ecuador
  • 5 days among Huaorani in Amazonia
  • 3 days among Otavaleños in Andes
  • 1 day among Zumbagua in Andes
  • 2 days exploring Lippis archaeological research
    region
  • 2 days at Pacific beach
  • 1 day among Tsachilas in coastal lowlands

Tropical Beaches
