Earth and sun

• Revolution this is when earth is orbiting around
  the sun.

Rotation

• The spinning of earth. Day and night are caused
  by this. This takes 24 hours.

Revolution

• Earth orbiting around the sun in an ellipse
  shape. This causes seasons and years what takes
  365 days.

Earths axis

• As you can see earth is not straight up and down,
  it is tilted 23.5 degrees. Earths axis is from
  the north pole to the south pole.

• Today you should have learned that earth is
  tilted, and it takes 365 days to revolve around
  the sun, and takes 24 hours to rotate fully
  around its axis.
