Uniform Wear
  • Uniforms are to be worn on Wednesdays from 0800
    until 1800.
  • The cadet should check what the uniform of the
    day is with their respective flight commanders or
    by checking the operations orders posted on the
    website.
  • Uniforms will comply with AFI 36-2903, Dress and
    Personal Appearance of Air Force Personnel.

BDUs
  • BDUs all cadets prior to completion of Field
    Training must wear brown undershirt with BDU
    sleeves extended.
  • Cadets who have completed Field Training will
    wear a black undershirt with sleeves rolled-up,
    weather permitting.

Alternate Uniforms
  • Alternate Uniform for Class B - Black shoes and
    black belt or brown shoes and brown belt, khaki
    pants, black shirt with detachment's insignia.
  • Alternate Uniform for BDU Same as above except
    with tennis shoes and the PTU shirt.
  • Alternate Uniform for PTU Black or blue shorts
    and gray or white shirt with no logos on it.

Pocket Contents
  • Pocket Contents - The Cadet guide will be kept in
    the right pocket.
  • It will be kept in a small plastic zip-lock bag
    along with a black or blue pen.
  • The ops orders for the day will be kept inside
    the cadet guide, between the cover and first
    page.

Jewelry
  • Jewelry According to AFROTC uniforms 36-2008,
    watches will be worn on the wrist opposite the
    natural writing hand (right handed people wear it
    on the left, and vice versa).
  • No jewelry will be worn when wearing PT uniforms.
  • Jewelry worn while wearing other uniforms will
    comply with AFI 36-2903.

Shoes, Shoelaces, Socks
  • Shoes Low quarters should be shined throughout.
    Boots should also be shined throughout, however,
    the toes and heels should be polished heavier.
  • Shoelaces - In any uniform combination, shoelaces
    are to be tucked in.
  • Socks must be black with Class A B uniforms
    as well as BDUs. Must be white and slightly
    visible above tennis shoes when wearing PTUs.

Sunglasses
  • Sunglasses For all GMC, sunglasses will not be
    worn in uniform, unless they must be worn due to
    a safety concern. For example, when driving,
    sunglasses may be worn to better see the road.
  • When around campus in uniform, POC may wear
    sunglasses in accordance to AFI 36-2903.

Backpacks
  • Backpacks when in uniform should be worn over
    both shoulders at ALL times if it is solid blue
    or solid black.
  • If it is not solid blue or black, it is to be
    carried in the left hand leaving the right arm
    free to salute.

Canteens
  • Canteens when marching/walking must be carried
    in left hand leaving the right hand free to
    salute.
