MY Presidential Minute
  • By Chris A

Congratulations
  • The first thing that I would like to do is
congratulate you president Obama for being the
first African-American president of the United
States. just as Martin Luther king had a dream,
you also have a dream and that is to make a
    difference in this country.

3
ISSUES
  • The main issue that I see a lot in this country
is citizens not being able to go to a four year
collage because of the cost and maybe even their
    racial background.

4
Avid
  • I am a seventh and I am an avid student. Avid
    stands for advancement via individual
determination, this is a program that helps
minority children have a chance to be able to go
    to a four year collage.

5
the cost for collage
  • The average cost for a student that goes to a
four year collage in there state is 69,000.

6
A Plan
  • A plan to help students who have financial
problems would be to give them extra money or
lower the cost for the collage expenses.

7
Debt
  • If one of these plans were to be used it could
keep a student out of financial debt, and I know
that is something that we want to look forward
    to in the future.

8
THE FUTURE
  • This plan will make the citizens and you happy to
know that there financial problems wont affect
there educational growth witch will give them a
great edge as an adult and spouse.

9
OBAMA
  • Out standing person
  • Brave leader
  • Admired by all
  • Man of justice
  • A man of his word

10
Thank you for listening
  • I would like to thank my avid teacher Mrs. Durham
for giving me and my classmates this project
because during the process it taught me that I
am lucky to have an advantage in my life from
    being in this program.
