- In Biblical times, the word doulos represented a
slave who had obtained freedom, yet willingly
continued to serve his master out of love and
loyalty. - The CBC Doulos Ministry will challenge its
members to become bondservants of Christ through - Coming up with big ideas for ministries at CBC
- Developing their big idea into a thriving
ministry - Ongoing management of their ministry under the
direction of the Doulos Ministry Program

- Each lay ministry is the responsibility of the
member to run staff is not expected to run the
ministry - Ministry must be compatible with CBC beliefs and
values - Each lay ministry must raise its own funds CBC
will not be expected to fund any aspect of the
ministry
