INTRODUCTION
  • Do you ever wonder what it would have been like
    if you had lived at the time of The American
    Revolution?
  • Would your family have been on the side of the
    Patriots or on the side of the Loyalists?
  • What would your life have been like once your
    family decided to be a Loyalist or a Patriot?
  • You will find the answers to these questions and
    more by reading the book.IF YOU LIVED AT THE
    TIME OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION

BEFORE READING
  • On the first half of your graphic organizer,
    predict the following-(make at least 1
  • prediction for each part of the question-10 in
    all)
  • If your family were Loyalists, how would your
    life have changed after the
  • Declaration (of Independence)? What if your
    family were Patriots?
  • How could you tell who were Loyalists? Patriots?
  • If your family were Loyalists how did you support

    side each of you is on and why.
