Switchboards Getting started

• To create a professional looking, easy-to-use
  interface, try a switchboard
• This can be a little tricky
• If you want to do more than just switch between
  forms, you will need to write small macros or
  Visual Basic code
• It helps if you plan the entire application
• Do the forms and reports first, then the
  switchboard for changing between them

Switchboards provide a standard set of basic
actions
To do more than open forms and reports, you need
to write some code...

Start the Switchboard Manager

Set up each menu item

• Text the name that appears on the switchboard
• Command what happens when the user selects that
  item
• Form which form gets opened when the user
  selects that item, if any.
