Networx Update
  • VOTS and ViTs charging. When will the customers
    start seeing billing?
  • VoTS billing is core funded.
  • Networx pricing is planned to be in place in
March and NISN should see the change in the April
    billing cycle.
  • However, based on current usage, charges may
exceed funding allocated for VoTS for FY09 and
FY10.  NISN is considering funding only Instant
Meeting usage and have customers fund operator
assisted conferences and any features requested
in conference such as secure conference,
recording, transcriptions, etc.  Once plans are
finalized, customers will be notified on any
    billing changes and effective dates.
  • ViTS billing will continue under FTS2001.
  • As centers transition their conference rooms to
the internal ViIP service, their FTS2001 billing
    will discontinue.
  • NISN is requesting that all conference rooms be
    transitioned by December 2009.
  • The internal ViIP service is expected to be in
    place by June 2009.
  • Once transitioned to internal ViIP service,
customers will receive a bill from NISN for their
    ViTS services.
